biosuite® is a focused procurement and spend management platform for biotech companies.
Most procurement tools are built for purchase orders that start from a catalogue and end with a single invoice. Biotech spend doesn't usually work that way. It starts with a CRO master agreement or a consulting SOW, runs through milestones and change orders, and only then turns into purchase orders and invoices that need to be matched back to the original contract.
biosuite is built around that reality. Contracts, purchase orders, and invoices live in one connected record instead of three disconnected ones, so you always know what's been committed, approved, and spent – without rebuilding the picture in a spreadsheet every time someone asks.
To give biotech teams a clear, connected view of procurement and spend – from the contract or purchase order that starts it to the invoice that closes it – without the spreadsheet sprawl or the enterprise overhead.
A biotech industry where no finance or operations team has to ask questions like "how much have we actually committed to this vendor?" and wait for someone to go and find out.
A note from our founder
Hi there – I'm Patrick Dirchsen, the founder of biosuite®.
I previously worked in finance at an early-stage biotech, where contracts, purchase orders, and invoices were spread across spreadsheets, inboxes, and whoever happened to be holding the latest version. More than once, a simple question – how much have we actually committed to this vendor? – took half an hour to answer, because the contract, the PO, and the invoice didn't agree with each other.
That gap is what biosuite is built to close. Not by adding more process, but by connecting the records biotech teams already create – contracts, POs, invoices – so the numbers add themselves up instead of someone having to chase them down every quarter.
We're early. biosuite launched in August 2026, and we're building it in the open with the first biotech teams using it – which means your feedback shapes what we build next, not a roadmap decided two years ago.
If you want to learn more, have questions, or just want to say hi, don't hesitate to reach out.
